Terms of Service
Updated October 12, 2026
Service scope and project agreement
LuxDuxx offers website design and care services. Package descriptions explain the proposed scope. A written project agreement should confirm the services, ownership, domain arrangements, payment terms, and responsibilities before a paid engagement begins. Sending an inquiry does not purchase a package or start billing.
Preview and upfront fees
We create a free homepage concept before a commitment. We complete the agreed single-page website after the client approves the scope and monthly service plan, with no upfront build or startup fee. Monthly billing begins when the client approves the completed site and chooses to launch. Additional pages, redesigns and custom features are scoped and quoted separately.
Edits and recurring care
Website Care includes one small content edit per month, with additional edits at $15 each. A small edit is one agreed content request on the existing page, such as a photo swap, short text revision or contact-detail change. Care Free includes unlimited existing-page content edits, handled one request at a time. We confirm request scope and expected turnaround before starting; priority handling does not mean immediate or emergency service.
Website Care includes monthly SEO/AEO reviews; Care Free includes weekly reviews. Improvements are made as needed based on the review. Reviews and routine maintenance are separate from the content-edit allowance. Brokerage listing links lead to external pages; preview photos are checked separately and are not automatically synchronized.
Ownership and the monthly website license
LuxDuxx retains the rights it holds in its original website design, source code and reusable components. An active paid plan gives the client permission to use the LuxDuxx-hosted, managed website for their business during the paid service period. The monthly fee and absence of an upfront build fee do not transfer those rights or include delivery of source files. Open-source software, stock media and other third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses.
Clients retain their domain and the rights they hold in supplied content. Clients must obtain permission to use content belonging to photographers, brokerages or other third parties. See Ownership and cancellation for the plain-language summary.
Cancellation and transfer
Plans are month-to-month with no cancellation fee. Hosting and permission to use the managed website end after the paid period. The domain remains registered in the client’s name; we assist with registrar access or transfer, subject to registrar rules. The client takes over future domain renewal fees. Premium domains are quoted separately.
Website source files, a copy for hosting elsewhere and ownership of LuxDuxx materials are not included on cancellation. Any buyout, continuing license or website transfer must be agreed separately in writing, with scope, costs and third-party restrictions confirmed before the transfer. The signed project agreement records the ownership and service terms before launch; any expressly agreed exception must be in writing.
Client content and accuracy
Clients are responsible for supplying accurate, lawful content, securing necessary rights and permissions, and reviewing and approving website information before publication. This includes property details, prices, availability, agent credentials, contact information, photographs, and marketing claims. Clients must tell us promptly when information needs correction.
Third-party listing data and other external information can change or contain errors. We do not independently verify every client-supplied statement or third-party record, and we do not guarantee that all displayed information will remain complete, current, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, LuxDuxx is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or outdated information supplied or approved by a client, or from third-party data errors. This does not excuse a failure to perform our agreed services or responsibilities imposed by law.
Security, breaches, and third-party services
Hosting, SSL, maintenance, and website checks reduce certain risks; they do not guarantee that a website cannot be hacked, breached, disrupted, or affected by malicious software. Clients must protect their accounts, passwords, and access credentials and notify us of suspected compromise.
To the extent permitted by law, LuxDuxx is not liable for security incidents or losses caused by unauthorized third-party acts, compromised client credentials, client changes, or failures of external providers beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including mandatory data-protection and breach-notification duties.
Results and availability
SEO and AEO services involve review and optimization work, not guaranteed rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or inclusion in AI answers. Third-party search, AI, hosting, domain, and email services control their own systems. Continuous availability and successful email delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LuxDuxx excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost opportunities arising from use of a website or external services. This exclusion does not apply where the law prohibits it. No provision limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived, or excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other conduct that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Corrections and support
Report suspected errors, outages, or security issues to luxduckdesign@gmail.com. We will review the issue within the agreed service scope. These terms do not promise emergency incident response or cybersecurity insurance.
